RSVP FEATURE
RSVP Magazine asked Olivia Buckley for some top tips to guide the bride and groom as they plan their very special day. From tying down key suppliers, booking a venue, choosing a dream wedding dress, to colour schemes and the finer details, we have the only wedding checklist you will need!

12 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Research all wedding venues and make appointments to visit your preferred selection; you will have a greater understanding of each venue after meeting the in-house team and walking through the property. Site visits will help you visualise the space, think about every element from the flow from drinks reception to dinner, dining room set up and design. Ensure you discuss all terms of contract and arrange a preferential rate for guests during the contracts stage.

"Every space can be transformed in any style, with beautiful blooms, elegant linens, draping, lighting and themed props".
8-10 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Arrange appointments with your favourite bridal boutiques and dress designers. Be open to all options, sometimes, it may look nothing on the rail! Structure is everything, boning helps so many brides feel a million dollars and can help you look a size smaller without doing a thing!
6-8 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Choose and order invitations – There are so many ideas, from paper, wood, perspex to paperweights, use your imagination! I have been Wedding Planning for many years and always felt couples needed a little something in addition to the invite, so I have designed a new Olivia Buckley Events Wedding App which goes as a QR code printed on your main invitation, this is scanned by guests and carries every detail about your wedding, at the click of a finger from Ceremony, Venue, Accommodation, Things to Do, Maps etc. It is simply Omazing.
4-6 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Order wedding rings – There are so many special things to do with the wedding ring, from melting down and using the gold from a grandparent or parents ring, special messages within or symbolic stones.
2-3 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Organise hair and make up trials, now that you have your wedding dress style.
2 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Call all wedding suppliers to confirm arrangements, create a time line for the wedding day, so there is total transparency about start times, directions, bridal party details etc. Provide all wedding professionals with an emergency phone number to call on the day of the wedding.
1 WEEK BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
Arrange manicure, massage, and beauty treatments so you are glowing for the week running up to your wedding!
THE WEDDING DAY!
Enjoy every moment from the minute you open your eyes, you are now making lifetime memories!
